Nordic Bushcraft Knife

A hand made knife made by Johan Staaf with a typical bushcraft blade. A good full tang knife with a scandigrind that has been hardened to 57-58 rockwell which makes it hard enough but still easy to sharpen. The handle is made of walnut wich gives it a good grip and also a beatiful look that will look good for many years it also have brass pins to give it that extra good look.
The knife comes with a black shaft leather sheath.

The steel used in this knife is a swedish high carbon steel from Uddeholm that is called UHB 15 LM and are the steel best suitable for knives used for bushcraft. To read more about the steel you can read more here.

Mini Bushcrafter

This is just what it´s called a mini bushcrafter made by Johan Staaf, a little brother to our Nordic Bushcrafter. But this one is made to be carried around your neck. It´s a small knife so it´s perfect in combination witha larger knife like the camp knife or a large Samii knife. But it´s still good on it´s on as a carving knife or instead of a folder. The handle is made of ash and the blade is made of 3 mm thick Uddeholm 15 LM steel.

Nordic Bushcraft Vildmark Knife

This is a handmade knife by Kimmo Sorvoja that is loved by us at Nordic Bushcraft. It has that great feeling of craftmanship.

The knife has a 7,7 cm long carbon blade that is razor sharp. The handle is made of birch and reindeer antler. The sheath is made of birch and leather and has the "click" that makes you sure is stays in its place. The sheats will have Vildmark logo stamped on the sheats.

Stromeng Samii Knife "8

This is the most used Samii knife and a utility tool that is used. Big enough to do prepare wood and cuttting down smaller trees ro shelter buidlning. But still small enough for carving, prepairing food or butchering. In short a big knife that can be used for small things and light enough to have hanging in your belt.
The blade is made of carbon steel and with birch handle. The knife comes with a classic samii sheath.

Classic kuksa

This is the classic kuksa also known as Fjällkuksa. This is the kind of kuksa that the samii people have been using for centuries.
This handmade item will be a trusted friend on your wilderness adventures.
The kuksa has a leatherstring so that you can attach it to your belt.

Coffe bag

The coffee bag is where the samii traditionally stored their coffee. The coffee bag is made of reindeer skin that is very soft but still very strong. It can be used for coffee sweets or anything you want to store with style.

It is recommended to put a plastic bag inside if using it for coffee.

Large leather pouch

Large leather pouch made of reindeer skin which is very soft but still very strong. This post will fit a Trangia 25 are bea good bag to store your food for example and it looks so much better then the plastic bags.

Hestra Fält Glove

Formely known as Hestra Guide Glove thsi glove now has it´s named after the well known Swedish Survival Instructor Lars Fält. Lars has used this glove in the arctic for the last 3 years (about 300 days) and has to honour him the glove now has his name.

Lars Fält only uses quality gear that he takes good care of so it will last many years. In an extreme enviroment as the arctic can be, he has chosen this glove to protect his hands against the cold. "These are the best made gloves that I have ever seen" he says.If you look after your gloves they will last as long as you want."

I have used this glove and used it really hard and it will take a lot of beating and keep your hands warm. It works great when you are active and want the control that a mitten wont give you. But for extreme cold or as an addition to the Fält Glove, we highly recommend Lovikka mittens and the old swedish leather over mitten.

But for the glove to last a long time it need to be taken care of just like all equipment.

How to take care of your gloves

Outer material
Proofed Ecocuir chrome-free cowhide. Proofed Army Leather goat palm.
Lining
Removable lining with wool terry cloth palm and wool pile lining on the back. (see pic below)

Eyelet with snap hook, outseam, securing point for handcuffs.

Innerglove for the Fält Glove

This is the innerglove that comes with the Hestra Fältglove. Since the Fältglove is based on the layer on layer system. This is what you should use together along with the Fältglove and we recommend to always keep one extra so you always have one that is dry.

Material: Wool pile. Wool terry cloth palm.
Colour: Off white.
